Session A: Jan 23, 30 and Feb 6, 13 Intro to the Artform of Opera Session B: July 9, 16, 23, 30 Explore the 2012 ECO Opera: Mozart's "The Marriage of Figaro"
Join Emerald City Opera's Founder and Artistic Director, Keri Rusthoi, for a light-hearted look at the oft-misunderstood Artform of Opera (Session A) as well as an in-depth exploration of the main opera chosen for ECO's 10th anniversary summer production.
Part of the class involves watching a production performed by the NY Metorpolitan opera, studying the Libretto, and discussion about the ECO cast, production, and summer programs.
